Ace at the Curve Home and Hardware is a locally owned and operated home and hardware store. Owned by Swanson Hardware, Incorporated which has been in business 60 years. Denny and Wayne Swanson opened their first Steamboat Springs store in May of 1984 as a True Value Hardware.
In October of 2005, Denny Swanson along with partners Scott Schlapkohl and Doug Post, moved to the Curve Plaza location and reopened as an Ace Hardware.
The new 26,000 square foot facility has proved beneficial for the Steamboat community and the Ace at the Curve family.
Offering a full line of tools, hardware, paint, electrical and plumbing supplies, interior design, seasonal and housewares gift departments, it is a unique shopping experience. Ace at the Curve has a big city selection with a hometown level of service.
